Lesson Objective Students will be able to compare the size of different geographical locations (ex. continent, country, state/province, city, etc.) with a 3D mapping tool (Google Earth).  Content Standards of Lesson (California) 1.2 Students compare and contrast the absolute and relative locations of places and people and describe the physical and/or human characteristics of places. Compare the information that can be derived from a three-dimensional model to the information that can be derived from a picture of the same location. Learning Activities 1. This app will allow you to easily transfer files between your iPad and Macbook. According to the Instashare website , you can transfer any file type by dragging and dropping in 5 seconds! Your students can also easily share photos, documents, presentations, and PDFs with you on a whim.  Here are the steps you will need to take: Download Instashare on your Macbook from the app store. Download Instashare on your iPad.  Drag a file into the devices that shows up in your Instashare app. Click on 'Allow' to complete the transfer. 

Did you know you can rearrange the items on your Google black bar? You will need to go to the Chrome Web Store and download the  Big G Black Bar Sorter  extension. After the extension is installed, you can click, drag, and rearrange the items of the Google black bar.

Read&Write for Google Docs  is a cool extension I found on  Web App Reviews  that can benefit ELLs and struggling readers. The extension provides you with a special toolbar on the top of your Google documents.
