Wonder Grove Kid's  is a website dedicated to areas of learning that are not always supported, such as  citizenship, fitness, health, home skills, nutrition,  and  safety . Their  YouTube channel  contains numerous videos on these learning areas and feature cute animated characters and stories.  Here is their YouTube channel trailer:

1. Open your  Capture  app. Rotate your iOS device to record video, or tap on the ALL VIDEOS icon at the bottom of the screen to choose a video you already took. Then choose the video you would like to upload from the video list on the right.    2. You can add music at the top of the screen. You can also edit the video by adding a new clip or adding an existing clip.     3. Title your video, change your privacy settings, choose a social media site to share your video, and then tap on UPLOAD at the top right corner.   

1. Open your YouTube app and tap on the Uploads menu button on the sidebar. You will then find and tap on a button that has a up-facing arrow with a line under it. 2. This will provide you with a group of apps where you can locate video on your device. 3. Choose your video.       4. Type in the title of your video. 5. Choose one of the viewing options (Public, Unlisted, or Private). 6. Then tap on UPLOAD at the top right corner.     

The tech-savvy Mrs. Mitchell has introduced to me an amazing tool that lets teachers create a canvas of lesson materials. You simply drag and drop different resources from the search engine on the right onto your canvas. You can share your canvases with your students and fellow colleagues! Crash Course is a YouTube channel that posts entertaining videos of two brothers, John and Hank Green, teaching topics in core academic subjects. These subjects include U.S. and world history, chemistry, biology, ecology, and literature.  Classroom Application: Background Knowledge In  " Building Background Knowledge for Academic  Achievement ,"  Robert J. Marzano explains how the background knowledge of students in a topic can indicate how successful they will be in acquiring new knowledge.  Since research shows that there is a correlation between academic achievement and background knowledge, it is important for teachers to provide students with information prior to the start of a lesson or unit. If you are a teacher who wants to connect your Google+ Page to the your class YouTube channel, then this blog post is for you. This option gives me another way to separate my personal life and my work life. I always felt uncomfortable having my personal Google+ account connected to my YouTube channel. According to the  Official YouTube Partners & Creators Blog , this option also allows you to add multiple managers to your channel, choose a name for your channel, and improve video sharing capabilities.  Steps you will need to take ( via YouTube Blog ):  1. Go to the YouTube  advanced account settings  and click on "Connect with a Google+ page (beta)." If you do not have this button,  click here  to see why you might not have this link.  2. Select your existing Google+ page, and then click "Next."   2. Click "OK." This will let your YouTube channel display the same name and photo of you Google+ page.

Teachers can capture and share student learning moments easily and quickly with  YouTube Capture.  Its newest update (version 1.1) now allows teachers to upload 1080p video.  The app can automatically enhance your video with color correction and stabilization. You can also edit your video with a trimming feature and by adding music tracks.  Many of us have multiple social media accounts for our classrooms. You may communicate with your students on Facebook or Google+, and use Twitter to communicate to parents. With YouTube Capture, you can share your video simultaneously to these sites. That is probably my favorite feature of the app. Make sure you have permission from parents to record and share video of your students. I also recommend sharing your video as "unlisted" instead of "public."
