Last year I got to work with a 4th grade student on her passion project, coding. We learned Python using rep.it and Codeacademy. The student ended up teaching her classmates what she learned during our time together. This is the ADE Showcase presentation that I gave at the 2019 ADE Institute in Gold Coast, Australia. The following is the live version. This one is the slideshow version. Every educator is a designer; a designer of learning experiences where students go on an engaging learning journey that lead them to do something that they thought was not possible of themselves. Ultimately these experiences will build the foundation for their growth mindset and give them the confidence and courage to tackle new problems and challenges.
